About Temple Memorial

In 1952 Dr. S. Collom and a gathering of Texarkana citizens founded the Texarkana Crippled Children Society in response to the polio epidemic which was affecting our nation during that time in history. Since then, the Temple Center, an Easter Seals affiliate, has evolved and expanded into a premiere facility providing physical, occupational and speech therapy for children and adults with disabilities.
