13th Annual World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade

You don't have to be Irish to enjoy the "first ever" 13th Annual World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade coming up on Thursday, March 17, in downtown Hot Springs, Ark.  Actor Gary Busey has been named the Official Starter of the parade with festival activities beginning at 4:30PM and the parade beginning at 6:30PM.

In addition, celebrities Kevin and Michael Bacon aka, The Bacon Brothers, have been named Celebrity Grand Marshal of this festive celebration. More than 30,000 people will join a list of celebrities along the 98 jumping feet of world-famous Bridge Street, which is named in Ripley's Believe It Or Not as the world's shortest street in use. Over the years, celebrities such as Bo Derek, Jim Belushi, Mario Lopez, John Corbett and others have served as Grand Marshals.

The 2016 parade will also feature The World's Largest Leprechaun, marching Irish Elvis impersonators, Irish belly dancers, dozens of floats, marching bands, Irish wolfhounds, Irish bagpipers and dancing in the street after the parade with a free concert performance from The Bacon Brothers.  And don't miss the Romancing The Stone contest where participants can lay the best smooch on the Arkansas Blarney Stone.

So put on your green for a St. Patty celebration during the 98-foot parade on the world famous Bride Street in downtown Hot Springs, Ark.
