19th Annual Good Grief Day June 7

Hospice of Texarkana’s is celebrating 19 years with “Good Grief Day” for kids to be held Friday, June 7, 2019 from 10 - 2PM at Church on the Rock (in the Cafe).

The free four-hour event is open to kids ages 7-15 who have lost a loved one to death, divorce, a parent serving in the military, a parent being incarcerated, or moving to a new school. Various activities teach youth to express grief in a healthy way, such as Pet Therapy, The Spider Web, Creating a Memory Square and Balloon Release. Special appearances with Maggie Grace a therapy dog, Cosmo the owl and some super cute hedgehogs.

Lunch will be provided by Domino's Pizza and a special thanks to the Kiwanis Club of Texarkana and Toby's Tales by Lori Anderson.
