Do you like the blues? Well, this Labor Day weekend the place to be is historic downtown Hot Springs Ark., for the 20th Annual Hot Springs Blues Festival in Hill Wheatley Plaza Sept. 3-4, 2016. This is in conjunction with the Hot Springs Jazzfest that starts August 31, and runs through Sept. 4.

Whether you like blues or jazz, this weekend promises to be a lot of fun with a super lineup of entertainment, family fun, great food and art. Take the short 90-minute drive from Texarkana to the Spa City for some Labor Day weekend musical entertainment.

This weekend will not only feature some local acts but some national acts as well.

A couple of the highlights of the Hot Springs Blues Festival will be the Noah Wotherspoon Band from Ohio and this year's International Blues Challenge (IBC) winner, The Delgado Brothers from California. If you love watching a great guitarist shred the strings you're going to love watching Wotherspoon a two-time IBC finalist and winner of the prestigious and coveted Outstanding Guitar Playing Award, an achievement that is only given out to the best guitar player in the IBC challenge competition. Joey Delgado of the Delgado Brothers took this year's honor. Both of these fellows are excellent guitar players worthy of the award.
