20th Annual Taste Of Texarkana October 18th-Hungry?
One of my favorite events of the year is coming to Texarkana, The 20th Annual 'Taste of Texarkana' October 18th, 2011 at the Four States Fairgrounds from 5pm-8pm. This event benefits Harvest Texarkana Regional Food Bank Inc.This year promises to be the best yet, with over 40 Restaurants and Vendors showcasing some of the area's best food. In addition, there will also be cooking demonstrations going on at the event, with over 25 wines and specialty beers to taste as well.

Chef Jeff Loving: Seared prosciutto wrapped scallops served over asiago-jalapeno polenta with a pomegranate reduction. Served with Viognier
Chef Kevin Yeager: Jalapeno Garlic Tilapia served with Chardonnay
Chef Brandon Thrash: Salmon Tamale Stone ground jalapeno cheese grits and salmon Served with Pinot Noir
Chef Bryan Ogburn: Super surprise Served with a very “Yummy” wine.
