25th Annual Magnolia Festival Promises Fun And Great Steaks [VIDEO]

One of my favorite festivals for this part of the region is coming up May 17-18 in Magnolia, Ark. Time for the 25th Annual Magnolia Blossom Festival and 24th Annual World Championship Steak Cook-Off.I remember taking the family to this festival one year and we had a great time at the parade that  morning. Later in the day as we were walking around shopping at the various stores and vendors the smell of steak cooking in the air was incredible. The cooks who come to this steak-off are serious about winning this worldwide competition. The highlight of the evening was sitting under a huge Magnolia tree in the town square and divulging some of the tastiest steaks you'll ever sink your teeth into.

In addition to the Steak-Cook Off, This will also be the 63rd Anniversary of the Sidewalk Art Show. This year’s festival is sure to be grand as there are several new events being planned along with some fantastic music acts.

The Beatles Tribute Band, Me and My Monkey will be the feature musical act of the 2013 Magnolia Blossom Festival and World Championship Steak Cook-off on Saturday, May 18! Concert will be FREE at the FB&T West Stage on West Main Street.

This year the festival will feature a Friday night FREE concert from country duo Dixie Tradition and Bubba Thompson, CMT’s star contestant from the hit show, “Sweet Home Alabama”, will be making an appearance once again for the 2013 Magnolia Blossom Festival World Championship Steak Cook-off! There will also be a parade and 5k Run/Walk to kick off the event.

The Magnolia Festival was recently notified by America the Beautiful, America’s Destination Marketing Agency, that the event has been selected as one of the TOP 10 EVENTS of ARKANSAS!
