25th Great Texarkana Duck Race

As a part of this year’s 25th Great Texarkana Duck Race, CHRISTUS St. Michael introduces the #MyDuckFace contest. People are encouraged to take a picture of themselves making their best duck face and enter it in the contest for a chance to win six ducks in this year’s Great Texarkana Duck Race.

There are several ways in which to enter. Individuals can enter using the #MyDuckFace contest link on the CHRISTUS St. Michael Facebook page. Or, they can tweet their photo, post it on Instagram, or share it on Facebook using #MyDuckFace in the post.

Individuals must be 18 years of age or older to enter. Only one photo submission per person is allowed. All Duck Race rules and restrictions apply. The contest runs through July 18 with the winner to be announced July 24.

“Most people enjoy sharing photos on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook,” said Cristy Lummus, coordinator with the CHRISTUS St. Michael Foundation. “We thought this would be a fun way for people to get involved in this year’s race.”

The 25th Great Texarkana Duck Race will be held Saturday, August 23 at Holiday Springs Water Park in Texarkana, Ark. Proceeds from the race will benefit programs and services of CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System.
