It was 37-years ago that Bob Marley, his wife Rita, manager John Taylor, and a friend were shot... even though the case is officially "unsolved", Bob Marley said he knew who shot them!

It happened December 3, 1976, and two nights later Marley performed at the Jamaica Smiles Concert. (... and he may have been on the pot.)
