Let's face it... when WILLIE NELSON beat his last pot bust by paying a $500 fine, it seemed like he got away with it because he's famous.  And now the judge supervising the agreement between Willie and the prosecutor has said just that.

She's Judge Becky Dean-Walter of Hudspeth County, Texas, and on Friday she rejected the plea agreement that Willie mailed in to prosecutor Kit Bramblett.

(This is starting to sound like a lost track from "Honky Tonk Heroes".)

The agreement was that Willie pay the 500 bucks, plus $280 in court costs.  The same judge shot down the previous plea agreement in March.  That one reduced the charge... if Willie paid a small fine and sang "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" in court.

And it seems like the judge is trying to teach the prosecutor a lesson, NOT Willie.  She did an interview with the "New York Times" yesterday, and pretty much blasted him.

She said, quote, "He's supposed to file the charge he feels is appropriate.  Not what he feels he should do for his favorite singer.  It is up to the judge to agree or not.  If you're not going to do it for the guy in the corner, why do it for a celebrity?"

To us, it kinda seems like the judge has beef with the prosecutor for talking with the media before things are resolved... and now it's going to impact Willie.

She said, quote, "At no point do I have to let him off.  If Willie Nelson gets off with nothing, I'm not going to be part of it."

It all stems from that incident last November, when a Border Patrol cop smelled pot inside Willie's tour bus at a checkpoint on Interstate 10, and busted him for a few ounces of weed.
