So did you happen to catch the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards the other night. Is it my imagination or has country music lost it's way on who presents the award trophies.Don't get me wrong, I'm all about variety in an awards show and it's kinda cool to see other artists from other genres of music presenting awards but when it seems more and more like there are more actors presenting awards it just seems a little bizarre. Unless the actor portrayed a country star in a movie leave the actors to the Academy Awards. How many country stars do you see presenting awards at the Academy Awards? There are a ton of country music artist out there that need the exposure and what better way to get that, than at the ACM's.

There has been a lot of talk recently about what was actor Ashton Kutcher doing on the awards show. Was he just trying to be funny or was he trying to mock country music stars for the way he dressed to present an award. In fact, Miranda Lambert and Justin Moore both tweeted and thought he was making fun of country music. Ashton has tweeted and says he loves country music and that wasn't his intention.

In the days since the ACMs fans and country music industry types are asking: How much influence do the networks have over organizations like the Academy of Country Music? Why are there so many actors some of them virtually unknown showing up to introduce country powerhouses?  My point exactly!

Now fans are asking on social media websites that shows like the ACM's and CMA's to knock off the non-country filler and guests. By doing so one fan says you would get more country music + stars that we want to see.

What do you think?
