Advise to Your 16-Year-Old Self

Hind-sight is a wonderful thing! I was listening to Brad Paisley’s song ‘Letter to Me’ and oh the things I would tell my 16 year-old self if I could!

These aren’t regrets, but just advise, like don’t be so dang shy! It has taken me years and years to get over my shyness. That shy bug still hits me sometimes, but I try to keep it at bay. I’d also tell myself to ask my parents and grandparents more questions about their childhood and l would make sure I was taking notes! It’s so hard to lose the ones you love.

If you could go back in time and leave a note for yourself at 16, what one piece of advise would you give yourself?
