AG Awareness Block Party

An AG Awareness Block Party is happening this Saturday May 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Texarkana.The event will be happening at the Texarkana Housing Authority Property at 2210 West 15th Street in Texarkana, Texas. The Bowie County Youth Board in conjunction with the Bowie County Extension Office is hosting the event.

The Mobile Dairy Classroom, sponsored by Southwest Dairy Producers will have a milking demonstration. The Bowie County Master Gardeners will have a station on Bean Babies.

Youth who attend will learn how agriculture affects their daily lives. Guaranty Bond Bank will provide a hot dog lunch for all attendees. Your invited to join the fun and see where you would be without agriculture.
