A&M-Texarkana Sets 2017 Homecoming Glow/Costume 5K Fun Run/Walk

Texas A&M University-Texarkana will sponsor a Glow/Costume 5K Fun Run/Walk on Friday, October 13 at 8PM during the 2017 Homecoming Week celebration.

There will be a lighted path along the route, as well as stations where participants will be sprayed with safe, washable UV reactive glow paint as they run/walk the course. There will be a black-light photo opportunity at the end of the course.

The event is open to the public and will begin at the University Center on the A&M-Texarkana campus located at 7101 University Avenue in Texarkana, Texas.

According to a press release, runners and walkers should arrive on the campus by 7:30PM. The university will be closing the parking lot for runners at that time.

Registration is $15 per person. All participants who register in advance will receive a T-shirt and LED headlamp.
