Even a week or so after its first teasers, American Horror Story is still keeping coy with any official theme for Season 6, despite what some historical set photos would have you believe. Now, new intel from the set reveals another massive murder house to contend with, as well a potential AHS first-timer fresh off The People v. O.J. Simpson.

Take this all with a grain of salt for the moment, but lest you think those “CROATOAN” set photos might belong to a one-off flashback, TMZ is at it again to reveal a massive new set from the as-yet-untitled Season 6, one built in a California forest over the course of four months. The structure is supposedly the main set for the year (with Angela Bassett and Kathy Bates already having filmed there), with some tie to the Roanoke Colony.

TMZ also put forth suggestions that the Emmy-nominated American Crime Story star Cuba Gooding Jr. might make his first Horror Story appearance, a casting somewhat corroborated by actor Annabell Osorio’s recent (since deleted) Instagram post, which listed Gooding’s name as a hashtag in thanking those for her time on the Season 6 set.

Thus far, American Horror Story Season 6 has extended open invitations for any and all past stars to return, including Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Denis O’Hare, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley and Finn Wittrock. Murphy previously confirmed a shocking role in mind for Angela Bassett, while Lady Gaga has also been confirmed to recur in some capacity.

Still holding out hope for space, but will American Horror Story Season 6 announce its official theme before long?
