American Idol Open Auditions in Shreveport Sept. 9

Do you have what it takes to be the next American Idol? The search is on for the next superstar and it just might be you! Auditions will be taking place on Sunday, Sept. 9 from 9AM to 5PM at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium located at 705 Grand Avenue.

This all part of the nationwide American Idol Bus Tour that began in New Orleans on July 20. If you plan on auditioning for the singing competition show, you are required to to be at least 15 years of age. Auditions will be taken on a first come, first serve basis and all auditions will take place rain or shine.

Many of you might remember that Garrett Jacobs a Bossier City resident made it all the way to the Hollywood rounds and into the Top 14, before being eliminated from the show.
