American Idol’s Casey James Live at Shooters Friday, May 4 [VIDEO]

Former American Idol star Casey James rolls into T-town this Friday, May 4th at Shooters. This native Texan who hails from Cool, Texas is a pretty cool dude in his own right after competing in American Idol season 9.  Casey made it as far as number 3 before being voted off. However, long before American Idol Casey had been making music for more than a decade. His mama was the one that urged him to try out for the show and well the rest is history.

So far in his young country career he's opened up for Sugarland in 2011 and most recently opened up for Alan Jackson. His brand of county, mixed with a little blues, has been accepted widely by his country music fans. His current single " Let's Don't Call It a Night" has made it close to the top 20.

Casey’s self-titled album debuted at Number 2 on the Billboard Country Album Chart upon its release a few weeks ago.

His down home Texas charm with his blonde curly-locks and model looks is driving women crazy everywhere he goes.
