An Exclusive Conversation with Kayla Conn Opening Act For Gloriana [VIDEO/AUDIO]

What a great weekend it turned out to be for the Gloriana concert presented by Texar Federal Credit Union, Texas A&M University-Texarkana and Kicker 102.5.The festive crowd, which included children and families and people of all ages, danced, clapped and sang along to Gloriana's smash hit "(Kissed You) Goodnight." The opening act was 15-year-old Kayla Conn from Houston, Texas, a performer whose musical style was reminiscent of Taylor Swift. She has been opening shows for former American Idol star Scotty McCreery and was excited she was asked to open up for American Music Award nominees Gloriana.

I had a chance to sit down with her before her show for a one-on-one interview in which I learned this was her first radio interview ever. It took her just a little time to warm up but I think she did just fine for her INT.
