The annual Hope Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Bluegrass Festival will be held Saturday, May 21, at Historic Washington State Park from 10AM until 8PM under the trees at the 1874 Courthouse.

The free festival will feature Buck and Company, Glenwood, Ark., Bonafide String Band, Fayetteville, Ark., The Hartley Family, Arkadelphia, Ark., High Mountain Grass, Magnolia, Ark., and the Hempstead County Melody Boys of Hope, Ark.

Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Lunch and dinner will be served in the park at the Williams Tavern Restaurant. The gift shop will be open in the courthouse to serve snacks and drinks.

Historic Washington State Park is located nine miles north of Hope on US 278 West off I-30 take exit 30 and head west.
