As he prepares to learn where he'll be going in the NFL after the draft, Joe Adams has claimed another award for his college play. The Johnny "The Jet" Rodgers award for the best return specialist in the country.

This award is named after Heisman Trophy winner and College Football Hall of Famer Johnny Rodgers, who personally selected Adams as the winner.

In Adams' statement, he was very humble and after thanking his mother and his coaches praised his teammates.

This award would not have been possible without the other guys on the punt return unit who made key blocks during my returns. I'm looking forward to going to Omaha to accept this award on behalf of our program."

Adams will be in Omaha on April 12th to receive the award. He was selected of LSU's Tyrann Mathieu, T.J. Thorpe from North Carolina and Texas A&M's Dustin Harris.

Way to go Joe!
