Another “You Landed Because of What”? Story…

An American Airlines plane with 144 people on board had to make an emergency landing, escorted by two F-16 fighter jets which were scrambled from Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, because…..two passengers got into a fist fight.

Apparently, the fight started because one passenger lowed his seat and the person behind him objected.

Don’t get me wrong, both of these morons should be fined, banned from flying or something. But, the airlines and our government have gone off the deep end when it comes to airline safety.

What exactly where the F-16′s gonna do?

Are the stewardesses so incompetent they can’t recognize the difference between two morons getting into a fight and a terrorist group trying to overtake the cockpit? (Maybe it was just a diversion.. so, while the stewardesses were busy trying to break up the fight another group takes over the cockpit.. yeah, that’s it…)..

Can SOMEONE please use some common sense here. I’m all for improving safety and being able to thwart another 9-11, but it’s gotten beyond ridiculous how every time someone says “boo” in an air plane our nations “leaders” and airline public safety people scramble the jets.

Somewhere in the depths of the Sea, what’s left of Bin Laden is laughing at us.
