Arkansas Autopsy Results Confirm Mindy McCready Death A Suicide [VIDEO]

If you have been following the recent death of Mindy McCready, authorities in Arkansas say preliminary autopsy results confirm that McCready took her own life.The Cleburne County sheriff said in a statement Wednesday that preliminary autopsy results from Arkansas' state crime lab show Mindy's death was a suicide from a single gunshot wound to the head.

The Cleburne County Sheriff, Marty Moss, says she was never a person of interest, despite tabloid reports to the contrary. TMZ reported that Mindy was never a suspect in the death of her boyfriend.

Mindy had been served papers days before her death that stated her mother, Gail Inge, was planning to battle for custody of both her boys, 6-year-old Zander and 10-month-old Zane. Mindy had been involved in several custody battles with her mother in the past.

However you look at this whole situation it is very sad to think her life ended this way. We pray for her family and children at this difficult time.

People magazine recently had a chance to talk with actor Dean Cain who was engaged to her 15 years ago. Cain says, 'he was saddened by her death but not surprised.' [read more]
