The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved bids for improvements to roadways in Miller, Little River, Sevier, and Lafayette Counties.

In Miller County the improvements include, resurfacing selected sections of 7.4 miles of U.S. Highways 67, 71 and 82 near Texarkana. 
 
The purpose of the next project is to resurface 18.6 miles of U.S. Highway 82 between State Highway 237 and the Lafayette County line. 

In Little River & Sevier Counties, the purpose of this project is to repair slide damage on U.S. Highway 71 and State Highway 234.

Finally, in Lafayette County, the purpose of this project is to replace the County Road 25 bridge over Little Bodcau Creek and 0.3 miles of connected roadway, near Dobson Station.
