Arkansas Tax Free Weekend Set For August 4-5

Hard to believe it's almost that time of the year again. Texarkana, Ark. residents can cash in on Arkansas Sales Tax Holiday on August 4-5, 2018.

That means throughout the state of Arkansas you will be allowed to buy certain School Supplies, School Art Supplies, or anything school related or clothing free of state and local sales or use tax for back to school shoppers.

However there are a few restrictions. Here's a list of what you can buy tax free.

• School Supplies
• School art supplies
• School Instructional materials
• Clothing and footwear less than $100 per item
• Clothing accessories and equipment less than $50 per item
