Arkansas will Host Syracuse November 30th at Bud Walton

No long early season road trips up north for the Hogs this year. Syracuse will visit Fayetteville on November 30 in the SEC-Big East Challenge.

Last season, the Hogs traveled to Connecticut to take on the Huskies in a losing effort. The Razorbacks are 1-1 in SEC-Big East Challenges, losing to UCONN last year and beating Seton Hall the year before.

This will be the first time since the 1995 NCAA Tourney that Arkansas and Syracuse have met on the hardwood. That was a memorable game for me. The Hogs were able to survive in double overtime due to a Syracuse technical after they tried to call timeout when they had none left. Arkansas went on to play UCLA in the championship game that year.

No game time is set yet, but this should be a really solid early season test for Mike Anderson's Hogs.
