This race is less than half of a mile and it's all for charity. Wait until you hear about the VIP package.

If you know me, you know I'm not the biggest fan of running. I want to be one of those people who can log a couple of miles at the gym, but I'm not even willing to put in the sweat and tears to get to that point. It's hard. I'd probably do more 5Ks if I could make it further than a mile.

So this .5K for charity is right up my alley.

According to KTRE, Boerne, Texas is holding a .5k (yes, that's less than half of a mile) to raise money for Blessings in a Backpack. This organization feed underprivileged kids.

The entry fee is a $25 donation and if you feel like you can't make it the full 546 yards, you can spring for the VIP option. With this package, they will tote you down to the finish line in a Volkswagen bus, for an extra $25. The website says this is a race for underachievers and there's nothing wrong with that. Everyone gets a participation trophy and there's free beer.

Hooray!
