Wild twist theories aside, ‘Once Upon A Time’ season 2 has given itself yet another connection to the beloved ABC island drama by following through on its intent to cast former ‘LOST’ star Jorge Garcia! But what fairy-tale character will the gentle giant play, and how big a part in the series will he have?

Somewhat sad news, folks. While much of last week was spent on an upswing watching show after show get officially picked up and renewed, it seems two of TV’s underrepresented mainstays are about to go gentle into that goodnight. On the upside, at least one of the cancelled series won’t mean an end to work!

It’s hard to think that an entire generation of young folk are more intimately familiar with the ‘Star Trek‘ of J.J. Abrams‘ reboot franchise, given the decades worth of 5+ TV series, and 10 resulting films, but the idea of bring ‘Star Trek’ back to TV is hardly a new one. So what are the odds of seeing that materialize in the near future?
