Barry Lunney Jr, who was the Hogs signal caller from 1992-1995, has accepted a position as Arkansas' tight ends coach.

Lunney, who led the Razorbacks to an SEC-West crown in 1995, has been working as offensive coordinator under his father at Bentonville High School where they have won two state championships over the last few years.

I always like Barry Lunney, Jr. He was the quarterback for the Razorbacks during a tough period as they transitioned from the Southwest Conference to the Southeast Conference. He ran the triple option under Ford as well as anyone I've seen run it and led the Hogs to their first win ever against Alabama as well as their first SEC Championship game appearance. Growing up a coaches son, he is a student of the game and will no doubt be a head coach someday. This is a great addition to the Razorbacks staff.

Flashback.. Lunney Jr to J.J. Meadors. TOUCHDOWN ARKANSAS!
