Arkansas Starting Point Guard BJ Young didn't play last night in the Hogs final exhibition game due to a suspension, but his absence was hardly felt as the Hogs cruised to an easy victory.

Arkansas defeated LeMoyne-Owen last night at Bud Walton Arena by a score of 111-45 and had three players score 15 points each (Coty Clarke, Michael Qualls and Jacorey Williams).

It was much like watching Razorback teams of the 90's as the Hogs forced 30 turnovers which they converted into 44 points.

The Razorbacks begin regular season play on Friday against Sam Houston State. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.. BJ Young will once again not be dressed out due to breaking an unspecified team rule.

I'm excited about this year's team. Powell is back and hopefully BJ Young will get his stuff together, plus we have guys like Mickelson to add some size underneath and for the first time in years the Hogs actually have depth. I'm going to predict the Hogs make the NCAA tourney this year. Could even go a couple of rounds deep.

My favorite quote during the offseason from Mike Anderson came during a press conference last month where, when discussing this years team and the youth on it, said:

It might be 30 minutes of hell and 10 minutes of what the hell are they doing?
