It's time again for the annual Beatles at the Ridge Music Festival held September 16-17  in historic Walnut Ridge, Ark.

The fun starts at 2PM on Friday, September 16 with The Beatles Artists and Authors Symposium featuring Jude Southerland Kessler of the John Lennon Series. Live entertainment starts at 6PM with Sonny Burgess and the Legendary Pacers and Deadwood Groove.

On Saturday there will be more than 100 vendors, arts and crafts, games, great food and entertainment on two stages all weekend including the Rockin' Wings at the Ridge cook-off and the British Car Show and Shine. A huge musical lineup will include The Brandon Cunning Band, Jeffrey & The Pacemakers, Arkansas Brothers, Lauren Richmond and the 2012 Grammy-nominated headlining act Liverpool Legends, an incredible Beatles tribute band on Saturday night.

USA Today picks Walnut Ridge as one of the Top 10 places for Beatles history. The Fab Four landed at the Walnut Ridge, Ark. airport on Sept. 18, 1964 and were then transported to a nearby vacation spot for two days. This marks the only time that the Beatles set foot in Arkansas. The stop-off was to be kept secret but the word leaked out and the entire town was waiting for them when they returned to the airport.

While at the festival, be sure to check out the Guitar Walk where not only The Beatles but Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Conway Twitty, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins are honored at Cavenaugh Park. And visit The Beatles sculpture located at Beatles Park -- dubbed the British Invasion of the Rock n’ Roll Highway. The sculpture pays tribute to a visit from the legendary rock band to Walnut Ridge on Sept. 18, 1964.
