Birding Convention Coming To Texarkana

The 2012 Arkansas Audobon Society fall convention is to be held in Texarkana, Texas this November.        The meetings will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn and Convention Center Friday November 2nd thru Sunday November 4th. The convnetion will focus on local birds and also penguins of the world.       There will be birding field trips, ornithology student presentations, and keynote speakers. Furthermore, participants will enjoy a silent auction, door prizes, and opportunities to network with otehr wildlife enthusiasts. The Friday registration lasts from 4 to 6 p.m. in Ballroom B of the Convention Center.     Convention registration is $15 per person if registered by October 18th, after that it increases to $20 per person, The convention is open to non-members.
