Blake Shelton Kicks off Holiday Season With Christmas Specials [VIDEO]

When it comes to country stars that are hot these days, Blake Shelton certainly fills the bill. You can't turn on the radio or TV without hearing or seeing the Blake-ster. The recent CMA Entertainer of the Year is a regular on the hit music show 'The Voice' on NBC. And this Black Friday - or as Blake calls it, Blake Friday - Kicker 102.5 will  air the Christmas special "Cheers it's Christmas"  at 8.am. to help you get into the holiday shopping mood.The special features Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert and Kelly Clarkson and will feature all new recordings of some great Christmas classics as well as some new material off the new album. There's even a remixed holiday version of 'Home' with Michael Buble' and a song he recorded with his mom.

And this Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 22) be sure and catch Backstory: Blake Shelton on GAC, a glimpse into his personal and professional life.

Scheduled for appearances on the episode include Trace Adkins, Adam Levine, The Voice creator Mark Burnett, along with Shelton’s mother, sister and wife.  Shelton’s father passed earlier this year and is featured in footage from the original episode.

The completely updated 90-minute segment will premier at 5 p.m. ET on GAC.

Shelton will also host an NBC primetime special, Blake Shelton’s Not So Family Christmas, in promotion of his latest album, "Cheers It’s Christmas" on Dec. 3 and 7.
