Bowie County Sheriff's Office deputies have arrested two male suspects in connection with a recent burglary of a home.

Deputies were called to a home in the 400 block of Clara Sorsby Road on a burglary of a habitation call. The homeowner told authorities that he had left to run an errand and when he returned he found a pickup truck he did not recognize backed up to his garage, and that the garage door was partially opened.

He said he then saw two males standing by the truck. One of the men was allegedly holding the homeowner's leaf blower in his hand. The suspect reportedly told the man that he had received permission to borrow the blower at which time the homeowner informed the two men that he was calling the sheriff's department.

The suspects twice asked the man not to call police, according to the homeowner. He was able to take a photograph of the truck and its license plate. Deputies were soon able to find the truck and the suspects.

One suspect is William Jason Alison, 34, of Nash, Texas  was arrested immediately. However, the other suspect fled on foot but was later arrested after a perimeter was set up and the canine unit was brought in to help in the search. Authorities say additional property allegedly belonging to the homeowner was found in the suspect's truck.

Arrested and charged with burglary of a habitation along with Alison was 44-year-old Bobby Ray Turner of Texarkana, Texas, Bond has not been set at this time. The investigation into this crime is continuing.
