The MAD has been a long time coming and now we can celebrate its grand opening with one of our favorite country men!

What's the latest trend in towns all across the country? Create a festival/live events area in downtown to draw in locals and tourists alike. Beyond the shows, the area will also be filled with local shops, restaurants and attractions. Some call it revitalization. I call it, in a word, awesome.

The Murphy Arts District in El Dorado, Arkansas has been under construction for quite sometime, but it ready to make it's debut this fall. In conjunction with the 30th anniversary of MusicFest, the MAD will hold its official grand opening over the course of five days. From September 27 through October 1, 40 performers will take the stage to help celebrate.

The big headliner for September 30 is Brad Paisley.

He will close out the show that night, but not before Hunter Hayes, Chase Bryant, and Arkansas native Ashley McBryde take the state. Ashley has been named on of Rolling Stone's "10 New Artists You Need to Know" for 2017. There are also other big names to see like Robert Earl Keen, Natasha Bedingfield, Train, Ludacris, X-Ambassadors, and more.

Tickets are on sale now at www.eldoMAD.com.
