Breaking News – James Eagan Holmes Charged With Murder, Attempted Murder in Shootings [POLL]

The Associated Press is reporting today prosecutors from Colorado filed 24 counts of murder charges against James Eagan Holmes, who is accused of killing 12 people and injuring 58 others at an Aurora movie theater.

In addition, prosecutors also filed 116 counts of attempted murder against the former neuroscience student, who police also said booby trapped his apartment with the intent of hurting officers if they showed up that night in response of the killings.

The 24 year-old Holmes is not expected to enter pleas today (7/30). Holmes could verbally enter a plea or his attorneys could enter it for him.
