Brett Eldredge recently celebrated his third consecutive No. 1 hit "Mean to Me" with a party at one of his favorite Nashville spots, Acme Feed & Seed. Although there had been a few ideas thrown around, the adventurous star officially shared the crazy stunt that he will attempt to commemorate the song's success ...

"We're definitely doing Dinner in the Sky," Eldredge shares. "We just haven't done it yet. It's getting set up still. It takes a long time unfortunately."

In case you're not familiar with Dinner in the Sky, imagine having a meal with your friends ... while hanging in the air held up by a crane.

Eldredge is pretty adventurous, as he previously went skydiving and swam with sharks — he even says he'd ride a bull if challenged — but the singer admits to Taste of Country there's at least one thing he wouldn't do to celebrate a No. 1 song: running with the bulls.

"I feel like most people survive that, but you can get pretty screwed up," he explains. "I want to be able to sing on stage. So maybe not running with the bulls. Maybe I'll stop at running with the bulls."

As he looked around at people showing up to his No. 1 party, Eldredge had a serious moment. He reflected on the time between his debut single "Raymond" was released and his very first No. 1 song, "Don't Ya," he says it was "by far the most important time in my career."

"'Raymond' did pretty well, but it got mid-20s. You need to get higher than that to keep climbing in your career," he says. "And so I kind of got angry with myself. Not like I was mad about putting that song out, I was like, 'I gotta go back and I gotta make everything the best it can be.' So I just started writing songs and writing songs and writing songs — just pumping them out."

Eldredge says he was inspired and determined to be successful. "I said, 'I'm going to get in the gym and start working out. I'm going to get stylin'. I'm going to try to make myself a star. I gotta try to figure out how to do that."

It's safe to say he figured it out.

"The songs started turning out and here we are at three No. 1s and it's like, 'Thank God for those tough times.'"
