Carol Burnett To Receive Mark Twain Award [VIDEOS]

Well, it's about time! One of America's favorite funny ladies, Carol Burnett will receive the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor for this year. She'll receive the award in a special ceremony this October.

“I can’t believe I’m getting a humor prize from the Kennedy Center,” Burnett said in a statement. “It’s almost impossible to be funnier than the people in Washington.”

 

I'm so happy that Carol is being recognized for her years of comedy. She should have gotten this years ago! Who remembers "The Carol Burnett Show"? Man, so classic stuff!
