Sunday Night Football is back and something bad's about to happen...

It's a glorious week because Sunday Night Football is officially back. The air is crisper, the sun is brighter, and Mondays feel less Monday-like. It's all because of Sunday Night Football and Carrie Underwood. Did you see her last night in the intro video? Stunning.

You may have noticed that song is different from the Faith Hill version we are so used to and it sounds a lot like another song you've heard before. That's right. The new SNF theme song is set to the tune of "Something Bad" from Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert's popular song in 2014. Which leads me to my next question...

Where's Miranda?

Last time I checked, the song belongs to Miranda and Carrie was just a feature on it. And since I'm a drama queen, I found myself thinking, "Why didn't Carrie invite Miranda to join?" Talk about a serious country girl power moment. I know there are contracts involved and whatnot. But what if Miranda never gave Carrie permission to use the song's likeness and is now sitting at home in Lindale stewing.

Just a stewin' away with all of her dogs.

Of course, this is absurd because they are both huge fans of one another and uplift one another. I'm sure Miranda couldn't care less about all of this, but it's still fun to ponder on.

And now you're probably thinking, "This girl is exactly what's wrong with our world these days."
