CASA:Songwriters on The Edge of Texas Concert to Feature ‘Sunny Sweeney’ [VIDEO]

One of my favorite events of the year is coming up in Texarkana Sunday, April 14 at 6 p.m. when CASA presents: Songwriters on the Edge of Texas Concert featuring country star Sunny Sweeney at Northridge Country Club.Tickets for this concert are $50 per person and includes dinner, tickets, and entertainment. There will be a cash bar on site as well. Sunny Sweeney one of country music's newest stars hails from the East Texas area. She is best known for her most recent Top 10 hit 'From a Table Away' and his nominated for ACM New Female Vocalist at the upcoming ACM awards April 7 at 7 p.m. central on CBS.

In addition to the concert, the 2013 "Edge of Texas" Golf Tournament will be held at the Northridge Country Club on Monday, April 15th. The morning flight registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. Afternoon registration and lunch will begin at 12:00 p.m. with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. The playing format is a 4-person, 18-hole scramble. Entry fees are $150 per person which includes a green fee, cart, gift package, lunch, and one ticket to our pre-tournament concert and auction.

The tournament concert and dinner is an added bonus for golfers and non-golfers alike. Once again, CASA is combining the "Songwriters" series with the tournament, so please come and enjoy cocktails and dinner by Outback. Golfers should RSVP to receive their complimentary ticket to the concert. Additional tickets for the concert and dinner can be purchased for $50.00.
