September 14, 2012 Lots of chills and thrills at the movies this weekend with the addition of three new movies to choose from. Perhaps the biggest is the 3D version of "Finding Nemo." After that it's a war epic "Last Ounce of Courage' and finally the franchise series continues with 'Resident Evil: Retribution. To tell you the truth I thing watching Nemo in 3D would be a lot of fun. That's my pick for this weekend!
Forget about 3D movies, pretty soon we could have 3D screens. At the 2012 Yeosu EXPO in Korea, Hyundai unveiled a new panoramic project screen that is actually made up of thousands of 11" x 11" cubes that can push in and out creating a rippling and pulsating effect on the screen. So not only can the image be in 3D but the screen could move along with it.
September 7, 2012 Looks like only two new movies open this weekend in Texarkana. If you want a little action mixed with espionage and a lot of bullets, try out the new Bruce Willis flick. Want some drama? Watch Bradley Cooper in a story about plagiarism.
August 31, 2012 Seems like more and more these days that new movies are starting on Wednesday rather than the traditional Friday release. And for the record two movies opened on Wednesday: ‘Lawless’ and ‘The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure.’ I hate to say this but the Oogieloves characters kind of creep me out. Speaking about being creeped out, the Friday release is "The Possession" need I say more.
Think I'll go with the bootleggers movie "Lawless."
August 24, 2012 As summer starts to come to an end not much to pick from at theaters this weekend. On Wednesday of this week a comedy "Hit & Run" hit the box office. Only two movies this weekend include a scary flick about the paranormal called "The Apparition" and a thriller movie "Premium Rush."

I will be curious with the movie ‘Total Recall’ which is Rated PG-13 and ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days’ which is, of course, a movie my tweenager wants to see.
