Next year we are fortunate to be in the path of the big total solar eclipse in 2024, but another solar eclipse is coming our way sooner! It's the solar eclipse that is happening on Saturday, October 14. You can learn all about eclipses and the best way to view them too in a class at The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana.

The 2023 fall semester at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana is looking great. The university welcomed 1,292 students this fall. The great thing is that this means there was a 9% increase over the previous year. Not only that but this fall is the college’s largest fall enrollment since 2019.

Texarkana is fortunate to have a college but to think that it opened it's doors back in 1927? Back then it was called Texarkana Junior College.
