The SEC presidents met Sunday and announced, at this time, they will not be extending an invitation to Texas A&M to join the SEC. However, the door is still very much open for the Aggies to join the conference and sources close to the situation say the SEC presidents were merely hitting the "pause button", giving the SEC and Texas A&M time to make sure they're both on the same page and they have all of their legal ducks in a row.

National Football Academies - Texas is holding a football camp today at Bears Stadium in Dekalb until 4:00 PM.  Players from as young as 8 to college aged are welcome to come out with their parents and visit the camp. A local effort is underway to bring these camps to Texarkana on a yearly basis.

Here's the trailer to Direct TV's "Football Cops" starring the gun slinging QB Manning brothers, Eli and Payton (Dad, Archie, is also in the trailer). All the trailer tells us is that it's "Coming This Fall" so, not sure if this is going to be a promo for their Sunday Ticket package or if this is their substitute for NFL games should the NFL season be canceled. Either way, it's pretty funny.
