Good looking today for Valentines to start the week but midweek we get a little wet and back to cold nights before the weekend gets here. Pretty typical for February weather if not a little bit above average temps compared to normal. Let's check out the week.

With Bull Riding at the Fair Grounds this Saturday and the Big Game coming up Sunday evening, things are looking pretty good all week leading up to a super weekend. We didn't have the "Winter storm" everyone was expecting in our area but there are areas of black ice so there are quite a few school districts and colleges and universities in the surrounding areas of Texarkana that have decided to close because of sub-freezing temperatures and the possibility of black ice on roads making travel dangerous.

Let the record show it did, snow and sleet actually, but very little made it to the ground as it blew in with very cold temps over the weekend. The forecasters weren't wrong, it just wasn't anything we could play in.
