Chris Young has racked up another significant career achievement. "Losing Sleep," the lead single off his 2017 album of the same name, has been certified gold by the RIAA.

This marks the 17th gold or platinum certification Young has received for a single by the RIAA. The gold certification is awarded to a song that receives sales and streams that reach a combined total of 500,000, with Platinum marking sales of one million. Just some of the tracks Young has scored Platinum singles with include "Tomorrow," "I'm Comin' Over," "You" and "Think of You" featuring Cassadee Pope. Meanwhile, "Voices," "The Man I Want to Be," "Neon" and "Lonely Eyes" have all earned gold status.

His latest gold-certified single is just one of many achievements the hit singer has experienced in 2017. Losing Sleep debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and No. 5 on the all-genre Billboard 200, with the title track reaching the Top 10 on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs charts. He was also inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in October by friend and former tourmate Brad Paisley, which he called a "bucket list" moment.

Young has announced an expansion of his 2018 Losing Sleep World Tour that tour kicks off Jan. 11 in Indianapolis and continues through May 19, when it wraps up in Tacoma, Wash.

“I’m so excited. It’s going to be the biggest tour I’ve ever done,” Young tells the Boot about the trek. “It’s more buses and more trucks than I’ve ever had out there. We’re doing bigger rooms than I’ve ever played."
