"Cody Canada & The Departed". Put on a GREAT show in downtown Texarkana Friday night.  Jeff stopped by earlier in the day and caught some of the "sound-check", and spent a little time hanging out... take a look.

The Texarkana Gazette had this to say in the February 25th edition...

Cody Canada of Cross Canadian Ragweed fame comes to a Texarkana stage with his new band, the Departed, for a 9 p.m. concert tonight at the Coliseum.

Canada is joined by a familiar face in Jeremy Plato, bass player from Cross Canadian Ragweed, and three other musicians with the same country and Red Dirt roots (Seth James, Steve Littleton and Dave Bowen), guys who’ve played with the likes of Stoney LaRue and Ray Wylie Hubbard.

This new group already has an album set to come out this spring with “This is Indian Land.” The 15-song collection is an homage to Canada’s home state, and among the track’s are songs like “If You’re Ever in Oklahoma,” “The Ballad of Rosalie,” “True Love Never Dies” and “Home Sweet Oklahoma.”

Did this one for our friends over at "TasteOfCountry.com"!

...and then one just because I like it.
