Hey, if you love outlaw country, red dirt country then you are going to love Cody Cooke and The Bayou Outlaws. Cody will performing live this Friday, January 17 at the Bar C in Domino, TX at 9 p.m.

Raised on the Texas-Louisiana state line, Cody Cooke IS country music. He lives, eats, and sleeps country music. The words to his songs are based on his life experiences. Born in Mansfield, Louisiana, Cody grew up cruising the back roads, fishing the best creeks, and sipping the finest shine that the south has to offer. Cody's music offers hints of his favorite influences from Hank Williams Jr, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, David Allan Coe, Travis Tritt, & Tony Joe White to newer artists such as Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, & Brantley Gilbert. His sound is truly classic outlaw country with a rockin' country sound.

Cody Cooke has only been performing for the last 3 years, but frequently tours with David Allan Coe and has shared the stage with notable artists such as Brantley Gilbert, Colt Ford, Travis Tritt, Kevin Fowler, Pat Green, Shooter Jennings, Randy Houser, Justin Moore, Whiskey Myers, Jason Boland, as well as others.

Cody's 2nd album, Son of the South, was released October 25, 2013 and hit the #1 position on Billboard's Heat Seeker Chart for the south east.

Cooke's debut album, Gitcha Country On is available on most digital outlets including itunes, Pandora Radio, Touchtune Jukeboxes, local CD stores, and at all of his shows.

Catch an exclusive interview with Cody Cooke & The Bayou Outlaws this afternoon during the "Garcia Express Drive at 5."  And I'll be giving away tickets to the Bar C show Friday night and a FREE copy of their new album "Son of The South."
