Country Music Fans Are ‘Hooked’ on Dylan Scott
The Hell on the Highway Tour featuring Justin Moore and newcomer Dylan Scott is set for Friday, March 23, 7:30PM at Shreveport Municipal Auditorium. This will be sort of a homecoming for Dylan Scott since he hails from Bastrop, Louisiana located in the Northeastern part of the state.
Scott just became a father in December and he's getting a quick lesson on how to balance his growing family with llfe on the road, touring with Justin Moore, The "My Girl" singer has been pleasantly surprised to the reaction he's been getting from his newest single, "Hooked." The second single from his expanded version debut album, Dylan Scott Deluxe Edition is sky rocketing up the country music charts.. The single has already surpassed 25 million on-demand streams.
Scott is not only a talented singer/songwriter but he also can play the piano and guitar. His single "My Girl," shot to the top of the charts and landed at No. 1, on the country music charts giving him his first number one hit of his career. Scott comes from a musical family, his father used to play guitar for Freddy Fender and Freddie Hart, so he has an appreciation for traditional country thanks to his dad. Some of his early influences were Tim McGraw and the late Keith Whitley where he's been known to cover a few of Whitley's songs in his shows.
Scott with his deep rich baritone voice is finally getting some recognition for all the hard work he has put in over the past few years. You can bet, this guy is here to stay!
