Country Newcomer Blane Howard Performs Arkansas Y'all

Country newcomer and friend Blane Howard was back in town to help promote his album "Bout Time" which is available for digital download at iTunes and Amazon. And for Hog fans a special new version of "Arkansas Y'all."Met Blane for lunch today at What-a-Burger one of his favorite places he likes to eat when he comes to town. Like so many other country artists who have driven through here, they also make a special stop at the national burger chain because there's not one in Nashville, Tennessee.

Now a little about Blane, he always had a love for music even at the early age of 3 years old Blane stood in front of a TV with his blue and green guitar and sang Alan Jackson's "Chasin' That Neon Rainbow" and dreamed of being a country star one day. Well, it's been over 20 years and Blane is still working hard on making his lifelong dream come true. Blane is currently working on a new album that should be ready for release in early Spring 2015. More on that coming up today in an interview with Blane Howard during the drive home on the Garcia Express in the 5 o' clock hour.

A 2010 graduate from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. where he now makes his home playing in bars, clubs, restaurants, venues and wherever he can spread his love of country music. Blane is a Arkansas boy, raised in Hot Springs, and because of his Arkansas roots he is a huge Arkansas Razorback fan. As a matter of fact the song "Arkansas Y'all" he wrote for a song writing competition for the website Arkansas.com which by the way, he was runner up in that contest. He has re-written that song for the University of Arkansas (Razorback version) and it has been officially licensed by the school and available for download on iTunes.

Blane was kind enough to perform the song in the studio today, so here it is.

Blane Howard is one of country music's rising new stars! In fact, I think his music and style is as good and refreshing as anything out there on the country music charts today. In my opinion, Nashville's best kept secret!
