Two male students from Ohio's Canal Winchester Middle School have been suspended for passing gas on the school bus because school officials say the act violating the schools code of conduct.

"When it happens, it just happens," he said. "It's not intentional."

According to one of the boys father, the punishment was handed down because the boys were considered repeat offenders because they had been warned by a bus driver over a similar incident a few weeks earlier.

The boys will no longer be allowed to ride the bus to or from school.

This 11 yr old in Ohio was also punished for "letting one slip".

I think it's getting beyond the point of ridiculous how strict they're getting in regards of school bus behavior these days. My kids aren't allowed to even talk on the bus. I can only imagine the punishment they would receive if one of them passed gas. Oh, the horror! Don't get me wrong, I'm all for discipline on the school bus and having rules about staying in our seats, horse play, etc.. but, not being able to talk on the bus? Isn't that taking things a little too far? They're kids! Kids that have been cooped up in a classroom all day. Surely our schools can find some middle ground between allowing the kids to run wild and controlling them like they were in military school.
