The Dallas Cowboys enjoyed their Sunday night nationally televised victory over their rivals the New York Giants. The Cowboys forced six turnovers in a 36-31 season opening win over the Giants. This was the first time that Dallas has beaten New York at their new home in Arlington.

Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo had a good night with two touchdown passes to tight end Jason Witten. But the victory was not secured until the defense intercepted an Eli Manning pass and returned it for a touchdown with just a couple of minutes to go in the contest.

Hopefully, beating the Giants will propel the Cowboys to a good start to the season, something they really need to better their chances of winning the NFC East.
