De Queen Woman Wins $2 Million Powerball! [POLL]

It's definitely a Happy New Year for Sherry Miller of De Queen! She won the $2 million Powerball in the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery!

She won the money in the December 26 drawing and claimed the prize Monday. Oh, what a way to bring in the new year! She bought the ticket at B & B Junction on Highway 71 North in Lockesburg. I have a feeling a lot of people will start buying their tickets there!

Sherry plans on using the money to buy a house for her kids and grandchildren.

So, just how much of that money is actually take home? According to Little Rock's KTHV:

$140,000 will go to the State of Arkansas and $250,000 for the federal government. So, that leaves her $1,610,000! Not too shabby for a $2 ticket! Do you play the Arkansas Lottery?
